Eli Matthews, Youth Minister

Grades 6 – 12

While the youth enjoy "hanging out" with one another as typical teenagers do, they are well integrated in the life of Eastwood. They are involved in mission dinners, church clean up projects, assisting in children's ministry, visiting shut-ins and mission projects such as Habitat for Humanity. They take leadership in the worship service the last Sunday of each month which is considered Youth Sunday.

Sunday School hour is every Sunday at 9:15 a.m. in the classrooms upstairs in the Koinonia Building. Eli Matthews, graduate from George Fox Seminary, serves as the youth minister and is passionate about developing youth leadership. A schedule of activites is listed in the BEACON. Junior and senior high students are welcomed to participate in all activities such as snow trips, concerts, skating and movies. If interested contact Eli for more information.
