Learning Together: Women
American Baptist Women (ABW): This is an active
group of women who meet in the K-building at 9:30 a.m. the 2nd Tuesday of every
month. In addition to monthly meetings, ABW is involved
in local and international missions. All women are invited to attend. Barbara Barnhill is the program coordinator.
Prayer Shawl Ministry: Sponsored
by Eastwood, this group meets at 10:00 am on the first Monday of the month in Room
14. The purpose is to knit or crochet shawls for individuals who are ill,
have suffered a loss, or are experiencing a special event such as a birth or
marriage. For

First Place 4 Health: A Bible study group with particular interest in maintaining good healthy habits. They meet every Tuesday from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. in Room 14. Contact leader is Jan Blankenship at (541)772-7888.
Community Bible Study: A weekly caring, Bible Study group
that meets every Thursday from 9:15 – 11:15 a.m. The
study design is four parts consisting of questions to answer at home, core group
time, lecture and commentary. Childcare for children from 0
to 14 years is available. Registration fee is $25, $10 per child.
Scholarships are available.
